The volume of a cone is given by the following formula:

V=(\pi r^2h)/(3)

where r represents the radius of the cone and h represents the height.

The height of our cone is 18 in. and the diameter is also 18 in.

The radius is equal to half diameter, therefore, the radius of our cone is:

r=(d)/(2)=(18)/(2)=9

Then, using those values on the formula, we have:

V=(\pi\cdot9^2\cdot18)/(3)=486\pi=1526.81403...\approx1527

The volume of this cone is 1527 in³.
