Given the information on the picture, we have the following right triangle:

using the trigonometric function sine on angle A we have the following:


\begin{gathered} \sin A=\frac{\text{opposite side}}{hypotenuse}=(200)/(c) \\ \Rightarrow c\cdot\sin (11)=200 \\ \Rightarrow c=(200)/(\sin (11))=1048.16 \\ c=1048 \end{gathered}

therefore, the distance that the plane has flown is 1048ft
