a) To determine the difference between elevation you have to subtract the lower value to the higher one:

Highest point= 5762feet (the value is + because it is above sea level)

Lowest point= -6 feet (the value is - because is below sea level)

The difference (d) is:


d=5762-(-6)=5762+6

b) Lowest elevation = -6 feet

c) d=5762+6= 5768feet
