Solution

For this case we can find the ratio in the following way:

10/15 = 2/3

And the ratio of the areas are given by:


(A_1)/(A_2)=(b_1h_1)/(b_2h_2)=(2)/(3)\cdot(2)/(3)=(4)/(9)

Then the ratio of the area is 4/9
