0.6/0.5 and 12/10 are they proportional

In order to find if the fractions are proportional, let's put both fractions in decimal form:


\begin{gathered} (0.6)/(0.5)\cdot(2)/(2)=(1.2)/(1)=1.2 \\ (12)/(10)\cdot(0.1)/(0.1)=(1.2)/(1)=1.2 \end{gathered}

The fractions have the same decimal form, therefore they are proportional.
