You know that the segment has a length of 20 units.

One of its endpoints is at (20,-10)

To determine the coordinates of the other endpoint, considering that there is no information regarding the segment, you can assume, for example, that it is a horizontal segment. This means that the segment is parallel to the x-axis.

If the segment is horizontal, then the y-coordinate of both endpoints are equal, just the x-x-coordinates are different.

You can subtract or add the length of the segment to the x-coordinate of the endpoint to determine the coordinates of the other endpoint:

\begin{gathered} x=20-20 \\ x=0 \end{gathered}

The possible coordinates of the second endpoint can be (0,-10)

Or if you add the length to the x-coordinate:

\begin{gathered} x=20+20 \\ x=40 \end{gathered}

The possible coordinates of the second endpoint can be (40,-10)

Both are valid possible coordinates for the endpoint of the segment.
