The probability can be expressed as :

Probability=\frac{\text{ Shaded Sections}}{\text{ Total Sections}}

The number of shaded sections is 5.

The number of total sections is 12.

In one spin, the probability is :

\text{Probability =}(5)/(12)

Every spin has the same probability of landing on shaded area. Since Sarah spins the spinner twice. The probability now will be :

\text{Probability}=(5)/(12)\cdot(5)/(12)=(25)/(144)

The answer is a :

(25)/(144)
