The equation is given as

3+2(n-4)>-1

We will then simplify it to be

\begin{gathered} 3+2n-8>-1 \\ 2n+3-8>-1 \\ 2n-5>-1 \\ \text{add 5 to both sides} \\ 2n-5+5>-1+5_{} \\ 2n>4 \\ \text{Divide both sides by 2} \\ (2n)/(2)>(4)/(2) \\ n>2 \end{gathered}

Answer: n>2
