Keep in mind that "a less than b" means the same as "a substracted from b". Both can be represented algebraically as the following expression:

b-a

Then, the correct algebraic expression for the first phrase, is:

\begin{gathered} (6*3)-5 \\ 5\text{ less than the product of 6 and 3} \end{gathered}

The rest of the given expressions are correct:

\begin{gathered} 3*(6-5) \\ 3\text{ multiplied by the difference of 6 and 5} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} (6*5)-3 \\ 3\text{ substracted from the product of 6 and 5} \end{gathered}
