Multiply Both Sides 7x + x = 12 + 5x
Collect Like Terns 8x = 12 + 5x
Move Variable & Change Sign 8x - 5x = 12
Collect Like Terms 3x = 12
Divide Both Sides x = 4
Answer:
x = 4
