Substract '-3.4x' at LHS nad the RHS of the above expression.

$\begin{gathered} 4.4x-4-3.4x=3.4x-3.4x \\ 4.4x-3.4x-4=0 \\ x-4=0 \end{gathered}$

Add '4' on both LHS and RHs of the above expression.
