The volume of the triangular prism = base area x height

Since its base is a right triangle, then


B\mathrm{}A=(1)/(2)* leg_1* leg_2

From the figure leg1 = 6 ft and leg2 = 8 ft


\begin{gathered} BA=(1)/(2)*6*8 \\ BA=24ft^2 \end{gathered}

Now multiply it by the height of the prism

Since its height = 12 ft, then


\begin{gathered} V=24*12 \\ V=288ft^3 \end{gathered}

The answer is A
