Protons have positive charge

Electrons have negative charge

• 22 protons (+22) + 18 electrons (-18 )

22 - 18 = 4 (positive)

• 12 -10 = 2

• 17 - 10 = 7

• 2 - 1 = 1

From most positive to most negative overall charges.

7 - 4 - 2 - 1
