The area of a circle is given by the formula:

A=\pi* r^2

where r is the radius of the circle since for this case we can take pi as 3 and the radius of the circle is 10 cm, by replacing these values in the formula we get:

\begin{gathered} A=\pi* r^2 \\ A=3*10^2=3*100=300 \end{gathered}

Then, the area of this circle is 300 cm^2
