this problem can be solved by means of the rule of three:

\begin{gathered} (1)/(10)\tan k\text{ ----- }(1)/(5)\text{hours} \\ 1\text{ tanks ------ x} \end{gathered}

hence, we have that

x=\frac{(1\tan k)((1)/(5)\text{hours)}}{(1)/(10)\tan k}

therefore, it yields

x=((1)/(5))/((1)/(10))

by applying the "sandwich law", we obtain

\begin{gathered} x=(1\cdot10)/(1\cdot5) \\ x=(10)/(5) \\ x=2 \end{gathered}

hence, it will take 2 hours to fill the tank
