Two angles are said to be complementary angles if they add up to 90 degrees; hence:

x\text{\degree}+\left(14x+15\right)\text{\degree}=90\text{\degree}

solving for x:

\begin{gathered} 15x=75 \\ \\ x=(75)/(15)=5 \end{gathered}

ANSWER

x = 5°

14x + 15 = 85°
