the formula for the circumference of the circle is:

C=2\pi r

where:

C=circumference

π=the constant pi

2r = diameter = 14

Then:

C=14\pi=43.98

Moreover, the formula for the area of the circle is:

A=\pi r^2

where

A=area

r=radius = 1/2 * diameter = 7

Then:

A=7^2\pi=\: 153.94

From the above

circumference, C = 43.98

Area, A = 153.94
