We have to find the list price P.

We know that the net cost was C = $4312.40 and the series discount was 5/10/15 (d1 = 0.05, d2 = 0.10 and d3 = 0.15).

We can write the relation between this values as:

C=P(1-d_1)(1-d_2)(1-d_3)

We can replace and solve as:

\begin{gathered} C=P(1-d_1)(1-d_2)(1-d_3) \\ 4312.40=P(1-0.05)(1-0.10)(1-0.15) \\ 4312.40=P\cdot0.95\cdot0.90\cdot0.85 \\ 4312.40=P\cdot0.72675 \\ P=(4312.40)/(0.72675) \\ P=5933.81 \end{gathered}

Answer: the list price was $5933.81.
