LOCK #4: Finally, inside the small box, you find a note directing you to the cabinet below the sink. The note contains a numerical riddle. When you solve the riddle, enter the code to open the lock on the cabinet. The code contains 4 digits to the right of the decimal. The digil in the hundredths place is the producl of 3.5 and 2. Every number is divisible by the digil in the len thousands place. The digit in the tenths place is the quolienl of 10 and 2.0. The digit in the thousandths place is the sum of the digit in the tenths place and The len thousandths place.

We have the following:

i)The hundreths digit is product of 3.5 and 2. Product means the result of multiplying 3.5 and 2.

3.5 x 2 = 7

ii) Every number is divisible by the digit in the ten thousandth place: Every number is divisible by 1. Therefore the ten thousandth digit is 1.

iii)Given that the digit in tenths place is the quotient of 10 and 2.0

Quotient means the result after dividing both numbers


(10)/(2.0)=5

iv) The digit in the thousandth place is the sum of the digit in the tenths place and the ten thousandths place:

5 + 1 = 6

Thus, we have the following numbers:

Tenth place = 5

Hundreth place = 7

Thousandth place = 6

Ten thousandth place = 1

The code to open the cabinet lock is:
