In a 30-60-90 triangle:


\begin{gathered} Hypotenuse_{\text{ }}=_{\text{ }}2\cdot short_{\text{ }}length \\ Long_{\text{ }}length=\sqrt[]{3}\cdot short_{\text{ }}length \\ \end{gathered}

so:


\begin{gathered} Long_{\text{ }}length=\sqrt[]{3}\cdot5 \\ Long_{\text{ }}length=5\cdot\sqrt[]{3}\approx8.66 \end{gathered}
