The answer is 1,400

2x700=1,400

2 multiply by 700 is 1400

An easier trick to multipy numbers with zeros is;

Remove the zeros first, multiply the numbers, then add back the zeros

That is;

2 x 7 = 14

Then add back the zeros

That is;

1400
