ANSWER and EXPLANATION

To answer the question, we have to know the meanings of the different types of angles:

=> Alternate interior angles: these are angles that are on the inner side (but opposite of one another) when a line cuts through two parallel lines.

=> Alternate exterior angles: these are angles that are on the outer side (but opposite of one another) when a line cuts through two parallel lines.

=> Corresponding angles: these are angles that lie in different positions but similar corners when a line cuts through two parallel lines.

=> Consecutive Interior angles: these are angles that are on the inside of two parallel lines that are cut through by a parallel line. They are on the same side of the line.

=> Consecutive Exterior angles: these are angles that are on the outside of two parallel lines that are cut through by a prallel line. They are on the same side of the line.

Note: the diagram does not seem to agree with the notion that those lines are parallel, but the options do.

Therefore, the various pairs of angles are:

<9 and <14 = Consecutive Exterior

<4 and <7 = Consecutive Interior

<2 and <10 = Corresponding angles

<8 and <14 = Consecutive Interior

<6 and <11 = Alternate Exterior

<4 and <13 = Alternate Interior

<4 and <9 = Alternate Interior
