once a week you babysit your neighbor's toddler after school, usually going to a local playground. You notice that each swing on the swing set takes about the same amount of time, about 2.2 seconds. Use the pendulum formula below to find out how long the swing is. Round your answer to the tenths place.

We know that T = 2.2, so let's replace it in the equation and solve for L.

\begin{gathered} T=2\pi\sqrt[]{(L)/(32)} \\ (2.2)/(2\pi)=\sqrt[]{(L)/(32)} \\ (2.2)/(2\cdot3.14)=\sqrt[]{(L)/(32)} \\ (2.2)/(6.28)=\sqrt[]{(L)/(32)} \\ \sqrt[]{(L)/(32)}=0.35 \\ (L)/(32)=(0.35)^2 \\ L=32\cdot0.1225 \\ L\approx3.9 \end{gathered}

Hence, the length is 3.9 feet. A is the answer.
