Given the following linear function sketch the graph of the function and find the domain and range f (x) =-5x+4 can you help me figure out how to graph this equation?

We will have that the function will be:

And since we know that the function follows:


y=mx+b

We will have that m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

From this, we have that the domain goes from (-infinity, infinity) and the range, goes from (infinity, -infinity).

We graph the function by replacing values for x and then solving for y, then we will have a point corresponding for each value of x, and then we link them. In our case since it is a line we will get a line with an slope of -5 and a y-intercept of 4.
