Rachel needs several rows of rectangle-shaped shingle for her new roof

The length of each shingle is 5/6 feet

Length of the roof is 70 feet

The number of shingles she needs for a row is

\begin{gathered} \text{Number of shingles for a row}=\frac{length\text{ of the side of roof}}{length\text{ of the shingle}} \\ \text{Where }length\text{ of the shingle}=(5)/(6)ft \\ length\text{ of the side of roof}=70ft \\ \text{Number of shingles for a row}=(70)/((5)/(6))=(70*6)/(5)=84\text{ shingles} \end{gathered}

Hence, the number of shingles she will need for a row is 84
