How would the graph of a function f(x) change if it is transformed into g(x) = f(x + 4)?

The rules of translations are shown below:

Consider a function f(x):

0. f(x) + a is f(x) shifted vertically a units up

,

1. f(x) - a is f(x) shifted vertically a units down

,

2. f(x+a) is f(x) shifted horizontally a units left

,

3. f(x-a) is f(x) shifted horizontally a units right

Now,

f(x + 4) is basically f(x) translated "4" units to the left
