Sketch the graph of the line whose equation, in point-slope form, is y-3=9/5 (x+1). Also write the equation of this line in slope- intercept form .(y=mx+b )

Given the equation of the line in point-slope form:


y-3=(9)/(5)(x+1)

Based on this, one point of the line is (-1, 3). Now, the slope-intercept form of the equation is:


\begin{gathered} y-3=(9x)/(5)+(9)/(5) \\ y=(9)/(5)x+(9)/(5)+3 \\ \Rightarrow y=(9)/(5)x+(24)/(5) \end{gathered}

Then, another point of the line is (0, 24/5) = (0, 4.8). Finally, the graph of the equation is:
