Describe the main message or theme of the poem and locate any literary devices and rhetorical devices (metaphor, simile, alliteration, personification, assonance, consonance, meter, rhyme, repetition, etc.). It may help to make a comment on what you think is the most notable (your favorite) part of the poem.

look for different similes/metaphors, rhyme schemes, alliteration, repetition, and any other literary devices and interpret what the author meant by using them
