The left box has 9 letters, 1 being Q

The right box has 9 letters, 2 being F.

So, the probability of picking Q is:

P(Q)=(1)/(9)

And the probability of picking F is:

P(F)=(2)/(9)

The probability of picking Q and F is:

\begin{gathered} P(Q)* P(F) \\ (1)/(9)*(2)/(9)=(2)/(9*9)=(2)/(81) \end{gathered}
