Quotients of two powers

We have that in a quotient of two powers with the same base the exponent of the result is the substraction between exponents.

In this case, we have that:

(4^3)/(4^2)

Since the base is 4, we can substract the exponents:

(4^3)/(4^2)=4^(3-2)=4^1=4

Answer = 4
