Accipiter cooperii, commonly called Cooper's hawk is a bird of prey native of North America from southern Canada to Mexico, it lives in temperate deciduous forests and mixed forests, even more, sometimes can be found in conifer forests. As birds of prey, they are hunters and consume small vertebrates and can follow the intricacies of bats fly when hunting so their failure rate is low, Therefore can be considered a secondary consumer.
