hello

to solve this question i'll draw the line and indicae the midpoint

since PR is the midpoint of the line,

PQ = QR

\begin{gathered} pq=qr \\ 3x+14=7x-10 \\ \end{gathered}

collect like terms and solve for x

\begin{gathered} 14+10=7x-3x \\ 4x=24 \\ x=(24)/(4) \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

Suppose Q is the midpoint of PR. PQ = 3x + 14 and QR = 7x - 10; Find x. Your answer-example-1
