b^2=a^2+c^2-2ac\text{ }cosB

That"s the Cosine formula above

Given :

a=14

c=16

B=35 degree

Substitute into the formula

\begin{gathered} b^2=14^2+16^2-(2*14*16* cos35) \\ b^2=452-366.98 \\ b^2=85.02 \\ b=√(85.02) \\ b=9.2 \end{gathered}
