We are given the following polynomials:


3x^4,6x^2

To multiply these polynomials we will multiply the coefficients and we will add the exponents, like this:


(3x^4)(6x^2)=18x^(4+2)=18x^6

This expression can't be simplified any further. since it's one term this is a monomial
