Given:

A box of jerseys for a pick-up game of basketball contains:

8 extra-large jerseys,

6 large jerseys,

4 medium jerseys.

The total number of jerseys = 8 + 6 + 4 = 18

So, the probability to grab 3 extra-large jerseys will be =

(8)/(18)=(2\cdot4)/(2\cdot9)=(4)/(9)

We can exoress the answer as a decimal rounded to the nearest millinth : 0.444444
