we have the polynomial

p\mleft(x\mright)=x^3+2x^2+9x+18

For x=-2

the value of p(x) is equal to zero

so

(x+2) is a linear factor

Find out the other factors

Divide

x^3+2x^2+9x+18 : (x+2)

x^2+9

-x^3-2x^2

-------------------------

9x+18

-9x-18

-------------

0

so

x^3+2x^2+9x+18=(x+2)(x^2+9)

Solve the quadratic equation

undefined
