We can see that the angle opposite the height h is going to be 35 degrees, since they are both alternate angles.

thus to find h, we use the sine relation


\begin{gathered} (h)/(7)=\sin 35 \\ h=7\sin 35=\text{ 4.015 miles }\approx\text{ 4.0 miles to the nearest tenth} \end{gathered}
