As we know that according to tignometric ratios:


\begin{gathered} \sin x=\frac{perpendicular}{\text{hypotaneous}} \\ \cos x=\frac{base}{\text{hypotaneous}} \end{gathered}

So according to given diagram we are taking angle A:

So according to angle A

Perpendicular = BC= 8cm

Base = AC=15 cm

Hypotaneous= AB=17cm

Now


\begin{gathered} \sin A=(8)/(17) \\ \cos A=(15)/(17) \end{gathered}

So the option B is correct.
