(8^5) ^6=8 how do I solve it

1) Let's simplify that expression into smaller bases:

Using the property of powers we can rewrite the original expression into a smaller base. So we can have:


\begin{gathered} (8^5)^6_{}=8 \\ ((2^3)^5)^6^{}=2^3 \\ 2^(90)=2^3 \end{gathered}

Note that we went down from a base 8 to base 2. And we increased the exponents but the expressions are equivalent.
