We have the following general rule for the substraction of fractions:

\begin{gathered} (a)/(b)-(c)/(d)=(a\cdot d-b\cdot c)/(b\cdot d) \\ b,d\\e0 \end{gathered}

then, in this case we have the following:

(8)/(10)-(2)/(6)=(8\cdot6-10\cdot2)/(10\cdot6)=(48-20)/(60)=(28)/(60)

simplifying, we get:

(28)/(60)=(7)/(15)

therefore, the result of the substraction is 7/15
