To determine the probability, we look at the number of times the chicken noodle soup was ordered in a bowl at the two-way table; from it we notice that this happened 3 times. Now we look at the total number of soups ordered, we can get this number adding all the values on the table, hence the total number of soups is 18.

Then, the probability is:

P=(3)/(18)=(1)/(6)

Therefore, the probability of ordering chicken soup on a bowl is 1/6
