Step 1

Rearrange the equation to the form of y = mx+b


\begin{gathered} 2a)\text{ 6x+5y=20} \\ 5y=\text{ 20-6x} \\ y=\frac{\text{ 20-6x}}{5} \\ y=-(6)/(5)x+4 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 2b)4x-8y=16 \\ 4x-16=\text{ 8y} \\ y\text{ =}(4x-16)/(8) \\ y=\text{ }(1)/(2)x-2 \end{gathered}
