First, we are told that Noah bought 4 tacos and paid $6.

Therefore:

Cost of One taco

\begin{gathered} =(6)/(4) \\ =\$1.5\text{ per taco} \end{gathered}

Therefore, at this rate:

\begin{gathered} 1.5=(15)/(n) \\ 1.5n=15 \\ n=(15)/(1.5) \\ n=10 \end{gathered}

Noah can buy 10 tacos for $15.

On the other hand, Jada's family bought 50 tacos for a party and paid $72.

\begin{gathered} \text{Jada's family rate}=(72)/(50) \\ =\$1.44\text{ per taco} \end{gathered}

We conclude that Jada's tacos were not the same price as Noah's tacos.
