Perimeter is the summation of the outer sides of a shape

The perimeter of a triangle is the sum of the 3 side lengths

\begin{gathered} (4.7u-2.6)+(9.4u+9.1)+(6.2v-8.7) \\ 4.7u+9.4u+6.2v+9.1-8.7-2.6 \\ 14.1u+6.2v-2.2 \\ =-2.2+14.1u+6.2v \end{gathered}

Therefore, the perimeter of the triangle is -2.2+14.1u+6.2v
