In this exercise, we have a RIGHT TRIANGLE (triangle witch has a 90° angle)

We can use the trigonometric relations for this triangule to find x.

We know the measures of the two sides (45 and 43), but we do not know the mesure of the hypotenuse. For this reason, we can use the following relation:

\begin{gathered} tg(x)=\frac{\text{opposite side}}{adjacent\text{ side}} \\ tg(x)=(43)/(45) \\ tg(x)=0.955 \\ \\ \end{gathered}

We know the tg(x), but we want to know x°. For this reason, we have to aply the arctg(x).

\begin{gathered} tg^(-1)(0.955)=x \\ x=43.7\degree \end{gathered}
