using substitution method:

let's make x the subject of formula in equation 1

x = 10 + 3y

Substitute for x in equation 2

-2(10 + 3y) + 6y = - 19

-20 - 6y + 6y = -19

-20 + 0 = -19

-20 = -19

The left hand side is not equal to right hand side. It is said to be no solution.

When a system has no solution, it is said to be inconsistent.

Hence, the answer is inconsistent system
