SOLUTION

Solve the inequality.

$\begin{gathered} 8(x-1)>12(x-2) \\ 8x-8>12x-24 \\ 8x-12x>-24+8 \\ -4x>-16 \end{gathered}$

divide both sides by -4

$\begin{gathered} -4x>-16 \\ x<(16)/(4) \\ x<4 \end{gathered}$
