Problem

w(x)=-3x^2-x; Find w(-4)

Solution

For this case the value of x is -4 so we can replace this value into the function and we got:

w(-4) = -3(-4)^2 -(-4)

And if we solve we got:

w(-4)= -3(16) +4

w(-4)= -48 +4= -44
