The slope formula is

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

In the point (-3,2),

-3 is x and 2 is y

y2 represents the second y point, and y1 represents the first y point

same for x

so, its

(-3-2)/(-2-(-3))=

-5/1=

-5
