Point j coordinates is (2,8)

Point k coordinates is (-2,-4)

Distance between two point is:

D=\sqrt[]{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

So:

\begin{gathered} x_2=-2 \\ y_2=-4 \\ x_1=2 \\ y_1=8 \end{gathered}

Distance is:

\begin{gathered} D=\sqrt[]{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2} \\ =\sqrt[]{(-2-2)^2+(-4-8)^2} \\ =\sqrt[]{(-4)^2+(-12)^2} \\ =√(16+144) \\ =\sqrt[]{160} \\ =12.649 \end{gathered}
